Chip was born in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in 1994. He attended and graduated from the University of Florida in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Economics.
In August of 2000, he began his insurance career with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company in Alpharetta, GA where he was an Assistant Underwriter in the Commercial Lines department. In January 2002, Chip was promoted to Specialty Underwriter in the Inland/Ocean Marine & Commercial Property Department. In 2004, Chip moved back to Jacksonville and joined Greene-Hazel & Associates as a Sales Executive.
Chip is a Member of the University of Florida Foundation - Jacksonville Advisory Council; the Jacksonville Oceanside Rotary Club; Board Member of the North Florida Independent Insurance Agents Association; Member of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents Young Agents Council and a participant in their Florida’s Future Insurance Leaders Developmental Program. He is also a member of the Gator Bowl Association Committee; the Southside Business Men’s Club and the Jacksonville Gator Club. Chip was most recently selected to serve on Mayor John Peyton’s Emerging Leader Executive Committee.
In November of 2006, Chip was promoted to Vice President of Commercial Insurance Sales and Service for Greene-Hazel and Associates, where his specialties include commercial account risk management, program design and analysis, and placement of insurance through Greene-Hazel & Associates’ commercial insurance partners and affiliates.
He is a licensed Property and Casualty Agent and holds a Certified Professional Service Representative designation.
Chip and his wife, Ashley, and daughter Madison reside in Atlantic Beach, Florida.
