Bob was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1977 with a B.S. degree in Business and Economics. He joined Pilot Life Insurance Company in the Group Insurance Sales and Service Department in 1978. During his tenure with Pilot Life, Bob rose to the rank of Regional Manager and in 1989 left to join Greene-Hazel & Associates as Manager of the Benefits Department.Bob is past President of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists-Jacksonville Chapter. He is an active volunteer at the Players Championship and a member of the Gator Bowl Committee. Bob is a licensed Life and Health Agent and holds the designation of CEBS, Certified Employee Benefits Specialist. Bob and his wife, Alison, are the proud parents of two children, Ashley and Bill.
